The theme "We Make Change Work for Women" was highlighted with the conduct of various activities focusing on the province’s contribution to protect, promote, and fulfill the rights of women and girls through loving and caring for oneself. A two-part festivity, activities were held at the Good Shepherd Convent grounds in Quezon City in the morning, and continued at the drop-in center in Baclaran, Paranaque in the afternoon.
Participants were treated and taught various self-care and self-help activities such as stress relieving exercises, sexuality and hygiene techniques, and basic survival skills by its lay mission partners and volunteers. Children in the RGS-managed centers, on the other-hand, enjoyed storytelling, games, and an art activity.
Attended by more than 100 participants from communities under the care and stewardship of Ministry Office of the province such as those in the centers, shelters, and the likes, activities for this month-long celebration also include Usapang Babae para sa Babae ng 1043, a women talk for staff in the provincialate community, and a reflection session for those who had been involved in the RGS ministries. Indeed, the month of March manifests the love and compassion of the Good Shepherd.
